We are thrilled to announce that Susan Hovorka has joined the Twin Creeks Assisted Living and Memory Care team as Director of Nursing.
Susan along with her husband and two sons, journeyed down to sunny and warm Florida from the windy city, Chicago where her previous position required extensive travel. She explains, “With my new position here at Twin Creeks, I am able to be a part of a permanent team and be home with my family.”
Ms. Hovorka has been a Registered Nurse for 19 years and found most rewarding, the complexity and long-term medical care that is required of Skilled Nursing. From this career path, she was brought into the field of Memory Care where she worked for ten years.
Susan’s experience then provided her the opportunity to work in Skilled Rehab as Director of Nursing, followed by six years in Assisted Living as Resident Care Director and Regional Resident Care Director. These positions prepared her for what was to come and we are excited that her skills and compassion led her to Twin Creeks.
In her own words, “I am excited to be a part of the new team here at Twin Creeks and look forward to the exciting things happening for our new residents and this community.”
