Lunch & Learn with the Alzheimer’s Association

Twin Creeks had an informative and valuable presentation today from the Alzheimer’s Association. Representatives Cyrena Duncan and Susana Arnesan were present to discuss the warning signs of Alzheimer’s, how to support a loved one with Alzheimer’s as well as ways to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions about how to have the conversation with loved ones and how to plan for managing care.

Our V.P. of Marketing, Morgan Lamphere was on hand to discuss how Twin Creeks provides care for residents with Alzheimer’s and dementia. While Marketing Director, Danielle Webster talked about the programs that are provided for residents to help decrease the likelihood for developing this difficult disease.

Shane Potter, Executive Director, discussed how the care at Twin Creeks would be individualized for each of our residents and that in addition to memory care, we would also have assisted living apartments.

The Alzheimer’s Association is committed to accelerating the global progress of new treatments, prevention and ultimately, a cure. They provide care, support and resources to all who are affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Twin Creeks has found them an invaluable partner in helping our residents and their families who face this disease.
